Easing the Burden: Support for Sydney and Sasha

Thank you to everyone who has reached out to Sasha and I with condolences. We are truly lucky to have so many people who loved our Mom and care for us.

Although Mom was sick for quite some time, we all expected to have more time with her. Her passing was abrupt and unexpected.

This has brought up many different developments for Sasha and I to work through. There are a whirlwind of emotions as well as physical and financial demands.

Sasha was employed as a caretaker for Mom through the COPES program. With her passing, Sasha is now unemployed.

There was an unfortunate barrier in us getting any access to life insurance funds that we originally anticipated.

We are discovering new complications everyday that need our attention and require a fee.

For those who have been following and would like to help ease our burden, please consider donating to help with the unexpected costs of the loss of our Mom, Tina White.

Your contribution will help us cover Mom’s rent so we can buy time to figure out how to manage the items in her home ($1,400/month), storage costs ($200/month), eventual movers for her larger items ~500), funeral home expenses to the amount of $6,000, costs to support Sasha in the interim while she finds a new job, planning for a celebration of life in the future, and so much more we haven’t discovered yet.
