Easing Yolanda's Burden After Loss

Hello, thank you everyone. Unfortunately, my grandfather, William or Bill, is not doing so well and is on his way to passing. We ask for help from everyone that we know and may not know. Any money raised will go towards funeral expenses and expenses my grandmother, Yolanda or Londi, will have after his passing. Anything is helpful ❤️ and eases things for her.
William spent his life doing so many jobs: grocery bag attendant, gold miner, social worker, and school teacher for many grades through the years, to name a few. Taking care of me and my grandmother was another job he took on without showing fear. Marrying her and taking on the challenge of raising me. And so many others he loved and tried to give better lives. Then later fighting through so much to make sure we still got his love for so long and dealing with so much. He had cancer acouple times. The first was on his lip when I was back in high school I believe but it was easily removed and nothing came back. Then years later he got news of bladder cancer. About 3 years ago he had surgery to have his bladder removed and have a urostomy bag. Had complications with that surgery unfortunately but was able to pull through. He is an amazingly strong man. And after dealing with ups and downs with that through the last couple of years he is now dealing with organ failure and more cancer has been found. Organ failure has hit hard and fast and made his favorite time of year and hard one.
He loves/loved Londi with every inch of his body. No matter how upset they got with each other, he was always there for her, and she was always there for him. Londi has dealt with so much from taking care of William over the last couple of years. Even with all the pressure, she kept pushing through.
He raised me and gave me the ability to walk, gave me rules and boundaries to help me grow into the loving and kind person I am today. He keeps telling me he’s proud of the son I am and is able to call me his. I wasn’t able to be there for him as much as I would have liked to because of work, and I wish that wouldn’t have happened, but we can’t change that. I have been able to spend the last couple of nights with him, and I hope it makes up for the time I wasn’t there for him and Grams.
Hope we are able to raise something to help lighten the already heavy load on my Grandmother. And hope we all have a great Christmas with the ones we love and have with us❤️
Goal Amount is only a guess of what may be needed. If the goal is met that’s great if it’s exceeded even better for my grandmother.
