East Greenbush-Castleton 12U State Tournament

The East Greenbush Castleton 12 year old little league all-star team clinched their spot in the New York State Championship tournament to be held the week of July 24 in Staten Island. To reach the state tournament, these boys endured a 9 game district and regional qualifier in which they faced off against the best 12 year olds in the area and in the upstate region of NY. This is the third year in a row they have won their age group and qualified for "States"--a feat that we believe was never accomplished before by an East Greenbush Castleton team. They are a special group of boys and represent their community so well. We are very proud of this team and this special accomplishment.

Needless to say, attending the State Tournament will cause quite a financial burden on these families--the cost for food and hotel rooms will be quite high for the week. We are hoping to raise funds to offset some of these costs. Any donation would be greatly appreciated.
