Eastbound Gives Back - Innocence Project, Inc.
I've never been a good promoter and I've never been good at asking people for things. But given the contagious passion and emotion that has gripped this country over the last 2 weeks, and in much the same principle that has moved so many to action, I realize this is not about me. It's about us.
One of the goals I had, when I started this business, was to reach the point where I could give back in a meaningful way; to make the world a better place. Even if only a little. But we have to start. I have to start.
So in this spirit, Eastbound will be promoting a new charity each month that will be chosen by one of our team members, since our team members are the lifeblood of this company.
If the charity moves you, please help us reach our monthly goals.
If not, that's ok too.
As long as we are all doing our part.
Our first charity is for The Innocence Project. Relying on private donations, The Innocence Project works to exonerate the wrongfully-convicted and free those that have been the victims of a Criminal Justice system that does not work equally for all. You can learn more about them below.
In the immortal words of Anne Frank: "How wonderful it is that nobody need wait a single moment before starting to improve the world."
