Eastman Family Emergency Fund
Donation protected
In the early morning hours of March 19th, 2023 the Eastman family nearly lost their lives due to carbon monoxide poisoning. By some miracle, as the gas filled their home, Stephenie woke up not feeling well and soon lost consciousness. As Matt tried to figure out what was happening, his 8-year-old daughter, Maizee made her way down the hall but soon collapsed. Kaden and Reese, the oldest daughter and son, rushed upstairs after hearing the commotion and as Kaden was on the phone with Emergency Services, he also lost consciousness and fell to the ground. Help arrived quickly and discovered the CO levels in the house were extremely high and the family was rushed to the hospital. After being stabilized by oxygen, it was determined they would need to be transported to Utah to be treated in a hyperbaric chamber. Because of the amount of oxygen needed, they all needed separate transportation. Steph and Reese were taken in separate ambulances. Matt, Kaden and Maizee were transported by air, all separately. The treatment was successful and they will make a full recovery. The Eastmans are truly thankful, lucky and blessed to have survived and also would like to thank all emergency responders for their help. The most important thing is that they are safe, but the multiple ambulance rides and 3 life flights will be a financial burden to them. We humbly ask for any donation you can offer and will be forever grateful. Thank you for considering and please double-check your smoke and CO alarms.
God Bless.
