Eastman Family Funeral expenses

The Eastman Family (Nick, Amanda and Hannah) of Superior, WI, experienced a tragedy on the evening of 1/15/23. Hailey, 19, Nick and Amanda's oldest daughter, suffered a seizure, aspirated and went into cardiac arrest. This event was witnessed by Amanda and both she and Nick gave life saving measures immediately. Hailey, was quickly transported to the hospital and placed on life support. She was diagnosed that night with a cardiac electrical condition called Long Q T Syndrome. Despite this, Hailey sadly passed away from her cardiac condition. She elected to be an organ donor and was able to help several people with this loving gift of life.

Hailey loved people. She always wanted to help others. She was college bound to earn her Elementary Education degree and hoped to work in Special Education as well. She loved her family and cherished her friends, especially their furry family pets. Her smile was contagious. She was loved by so many. She will sadly missed.

In addition to this heavy, heavy trial, Nick's K-9 partner on the Superior Police Department, Marik, become suddenly ill on 1/11. He currently is in grave condition at a local veterinary hospital related to a gastrointestinal condition. Marik, Nick's longtime partner, and the Eastman's furry family companion, will need to be put to sleep in the near future due to his failing condition.

With these two very heavy heartaches, the Eastmans will be stepping out of their work roles as they redefine their lives and spend time together to heal.

Any and all donations will go directly to the Eastman family to help cover funeral costs, lost time from work, medical bills, and other related expenses.
