EAT Associate Relief Fund via GoFund Me.
The COVID-19 has impacted every aspect of our lives. As soon as the situation escalated EAT Restaurant Partners took all possible cautionary steps to ensure the safety of our guests while attempting to keep our associates employed. The support from the city Richmond was tremendous and we can’t express our gratitude enough for continuing to allow us to serve the fine people of our wonderful city. However, in an effort to follow the Governor and the cities mandates, as well as protect the safety of our guests and staff we have decided to close our dining rooms on March 16th. As a result, many EAT Restaurant Associates are now unemployed.
Our associates are our family and we want to help take care of our family. We created this Go Fund Me because so many of our guests have reached out to us wanting to help. The amount isn’t as important as the intent and goodwill that comes with it. Every bit helps and every penny will go directly to our valued associates. Our goal is to provide some relief during these uncertain and trying times until we can safely reopen our doors again and welcome our associates back home.
It is important to note that all EAT Restaurants are remaining open for takeout and the City has provided convenient curbside parking. All tips and “round ups” collected on these orders will go directly towards our Associate Relief Fund. Below you will find our website link that provides all of our restaurants locations and their menus.
On behalf of our President, Chris Tsui, we thank you so much for your continued generosity and empathy.
