Eaton Canyon Fire: Morgan Family Relief Fund
Donation protected
Ashley Morgan and her mother, Cheryl Morgan, are organizing a fundraiser to support their uncle and brother, William Morgan, and their grandmother and mother, Margaret Riddick.
Both William and Margaret tragically lost their homes and all of their belongings in the devastating Eaton Canyon Fire located in the Altadena-Pasadena region of Los Angeles County.
William’s home was located at Mendocino and Olive. He was a long time resident of Pasadena, active community member and friend. He lost his home while helping evacuate Margaret from the care facility.
Margaret had recently settled into the Altadena Terraces at Park Marino assisted living facility after moving to California just a year ago. She had begun to build a community of friends and receive the care she needed.
Both urgently need assistance with securing in expected expenses related to short- and long-term housing. Additionally, Margaret requires support to find a new assisted living placement, along with essential items such as hygiene products, clothing, and medication for her medical care.
Any contribution to help them through this challenging time would be deeply appreciated.
My name is Elycia Knight, friend of Ashley Morgan. I am from Northern California and close sister to Southern California residents. This campaign is intended to be used specifically to help with relief for the Morgans. Many impacted by the fires do not have the emotional capacity to create campaigns, so with Ashley’s permission, I created this campaign on their behalf. The family are seeking support to cover unexpected cost to get back on their feet. Any funds received will assist with needs that are not fully covered by other sources of aid.
