Eaton Fire in Altadena: Help Bobby Recover.
Donation protected
Hello everyone,
My name is Richard Tirado, I’m reaching out because my uncle, John Robert Tirado—Bobby to most of us—needs our help. On Wednesday, January 8, 2025, the Eaton Fire tore through Altadena, CA, and destroyed his home. This was a generational home in our family for decades. We’ve had many memories there: birthdays, barbecues, graduation parties, and more.
Uncle Bobby is the kind of person who’s always there for others. As an active member of St. Philip's Church in Pasadena, he’s known for providing blankets and food to those in need. But now, he’s the one who needs our support. The fire took everything from him—he escaped with only his car and the clothes on his back.
We’re asking for donations to help him start rebuilding his life. Anything you can give would mean the world—no amount is too small. And if you can’t donate, sharing this page would help a ton too.
Thank you so much for anything you can do to support him during this tough time.

We found this image of the crucifixion burnt on the front yard, a sign of hope for Bobby:
