Eaton Fire Relief for Mary

My grandmother, Mary, lost everything in the Eaton Fire—her home of over 30 years, her car, belongings, as well as the neighborhood she loved for most of her life. At 80 years old, she now faces the overwhelming challenge of starting over without the fiscal safety net provided by fire insurance. While my family and I are doing all we can to support her, the expected financial toll is considerable.

My grandma is one of my biggest supporters in life and opened her home to me when I needed it most. I lived with her in Altadena for over three years before moving to Oakland, and it’s been heartbreaking to see everything gone.

I recognize that many in our community are also suffering in the wake of this disaster, and humbly ask for your support during this time. Any contribution—big or small—will help my grandma meet immediate needs and take her first steps toward rebuilding her life with dignity.
