Eaton Fire Relief for the Andrews Family
Donation protected
On January 7th the Andrews Family was displaced from their home due to the Eaton Fire in beautiful Altadena, CA where they have lived for 22 years and raised their two girls, Amelia and Guinevere.
As I'm sure you've seen in the news, the destruction is shocking and it will be decades before the long-term environmental and health impacts of the fire are fully understood. They are devastated by the loss of their beloved historic bungalow neighborhood, the majority of which burned to the ground.
During the conflagration, Beth and Jerome grabbed garden hoses and watered down what they could to provide a last meager defensive effort against the blaze.
Altadena lost over 9,000 structures, the size and scope of this catastrophe is unprecedented.

The Andrews are encountering significant expenses that are not covered by insurance and recovery in this massive disaster is uncertain. While their home remains standing, the possibility of ever returning remains doubtful at best. As with the majority of homeowners, their largest asset and the cornerstone of their retirement was comprised of this property. Despite the immense trauma, they remain steadfast in their determination, looking towards the future trying to figure out what is next as they begin to rebuild their lives in southern California.
Please consider supporting my sister and her family's recovery during this uncertain and traumatic time.
