Donate to Eaton Fire Disaster- Gil & Gracie Gonzalez Familia

This GoFundMe has been established for the family of Gilbert and Gracie Gonzalez of Altadena. California who like so many are survivors impacted by the devastation of the Eaton Fire on Jan 8th, 2025.

Tragically, Gil and Gracie lost their loving home of nearly 30 years. Like many that night, they evacuated with little or no notice and were only able to take their immediate belongings. They've since learned their home was deemed a complete and total structural loss and with it the loss of all their belongings. The family will have a tough road ahead and that will mean starting the process to rebuild once they able to do so.

Friends and family can now donate through this GoFundMe to provide much needed financial relief and assistance for the Gonzalez family Through our generosity, donations will go towards temporary housing, food, meals, transportation, prescriptions, clothes other living expenses. Recovery may take months and years and this fund will help the Gonzalez family while they recover from this horrible tragedy.

Gilbert and Gracie have been happily married for 36 years. Gilbert retired after a 31 year career with the County of Los Angeles Gracie also recently retired from a 44 year career with AT&T Communicatons. They have two beautiful kids and throughout the years have loved and supported their family, friends, neighbors and community in Altadena. Before this tragedy, they were entering their retirement years and loved spending time gardening, golfing and enjoying backyard bbqs and family celebrations wth friends and loved ones. They also share a passion for cooking, and routing for their favorites teams LA Dodgers and the LV Raiders

While the Eaton Fire continues to rage and spread into neighboring communities, this fund will go towards immediate assistance needed by the Gonzalez family. Our thoughts and prayers are with those affected by this terrible tragedy and will have a difficult path to recover from this fire. Our hearts are also with our hero front line first responders and community volunteers.
