Help Sheila & Adam After Losing Home to Eaton Fire
Donation protected
On the evening of January 7th, Sheila and Adam’s lives changed in an instant. What should have been a peaceful evening in their Altadena home turned into a nightmare. At around 6:30 PM, they received an emergency alert: evacuate immediately. A fast-moving fire had broken out in Eaton Canyon, just blocks away.
With no time to spare, they grabbed their essential documents, a few small possessions, and their beloved green cheek conure Joey before fleeing to safety. They spent the night anxiously awaiting news, only to learn the next day that their worst fears had come true—the fire had destroyed everything.
Sheila, a therapist, has spent her career helping others through life’s hardest moments, and Adam has dedicated his work to protecting the environment. After marrying this past spring, they were filled with hope and excitement for their future together. Now, they face the daunting task of starting over.
These funds will go directly to Sheila & Adam and support any unmet needs not covered by other disaster relief aid.
Lastly, we understand that many are facing incredible hardships, and we deeply appreciate any support. If you have any questions or would like to reach out, please don’t hesitate to send a message to Rachel, who will be managing this account.
Thank you for your kindness and generosity for considering the victims the Eaton Fire.
With love and gratitude,
Sheila & Adam's friends & family
