EATs for EMTs

I wanted to feed EMTs in NYC as they are insanely overburdened during the pandemic and yet I feel have been an overlooked branch of first responders. They are historically the lowest paid civil servants but have thousands of men and women on the front line saving lives. So to give back I'm fronting the first few grand to buy lunch for them in partnership with local restaurants. 

To start this off, Manhattan-born chain Shake Shack stepped forward with a desire to give back and will be delivering lunch to EMS in Manhattan and BK. We will be taking the money and sending out the first orders to EMS stations very soon, so stay tuned for pics of the deliveries! We also will be on local NBC next week to try to boost momentum. 

This is not a big non-profit or a PR-backed stunt. This is just an idea I had to come out of pocket to help local business while feeding local heroes. 

This project can only go as far as our collective dollars so spread far and wide and to anyone who wants to help and for every few thousand we raise we can order another meal!
