Andre Needs A Wheelchair Van

Hi my name is Judy. I am creating this fundraiser for my grandson Andre. Andre is a beautiful teenage boy who has multiple disabilities. He can not walk or talk and requires full care 24 hours a day. Andre also needs many specialized therapies that are not available to him in his small rural town. He has been on a waiting list for treatment in Atlanta for over a year. A spot finally opened up for him when his family found out that the transportation service they depended on to get him to medical appointments would not be willing to make this journey 5 days a week. So Andre got passed over for the only treatment currently available to him. This has been devastating for him and his family. So now we are hoping to raise funds to get Andre a wheelchair accessable vehicle of his own so that he can not only get to medical appointments but he can also go to the park or a outing to enjoy some time not confined to his medical bed all day. We are hoping to come up with enough to purchase a used wheelchair accessable vehicle and do any repairs that might be needed.
