Welp village, here we are.
As many of you know I am now conquering stage 3 breast cancer .
Though I had been dealing with random health issues and emergencies for MONTHS on
Dec 4, 2018 it was confirmed to absolutely be cancer.
On Dec 18,2018 I underwent a double mastectomy and lumpectomy.
Jan 18,2018 I unfortunately developed an infection requiring an emergency surgery
And as of today Feb 16,2018 admitted again for shortness of breath and antibiotic induced ulcerative colitis...
Chemo is to start once we are all clear of infection and we've built my immune system back up a bit.
Needless to say we have been on quite the rollercoaster but remain hopeful, upbeat, full of joy and promise .
I am so grateful that a few short months before diagnosis, my parents came back to America therefore I am able to heal amongst the love and support of family.
It's been a beautiful time
Because I've not been working I've had to depend on the charity of others.
My parents specifically have given a lot of themselves and their time. Mommy setting up a comfortable, sanitary and safe space for me at home complete with hospital bed. She also took months off of work to attend to me. I am grateful.
Daddy prepares most of my meals and drives me all over the valley for appointments that sometimes last hours. I am grateful.
Some do not know that they also are taking care of my babysister who is conquering her own health issue of, NMO.
I have been asked since day 1 if I needed anything and for awhile the answer was no however we are embarking on a new phase of this journey and the costs, needs and demands are clear. So at this time, your help is needed in many areas.
If you feel so inclined to send blessings my way, I would be incredibly grateful.
