Eboni's Fight To Walk Again!
Donation protected
On November 12, 2018 Chevonne noticed something wasn't right with Eboni. She immediately took her to the ER at AAMC. They began testing in the ER and sent her for both MRI and a CT scan. Eboni was suffering from a lot of confusion, and first she was diagnosed with a UTI and sepsis. After the test results came back Chevonne was later told that Eboni had suffered from a Transverse Venous Thrombus Blood Clot in her brain. The clot is blocking the left side at the Hypothalamus area of her brain. This is causing Eboni to have short term memory loss as well as a great deal of cognitive changes. This has also affected her fine and gross motor skills which means it is difficult for her to hold and grasp things. She also has significant nerve damage which has caused paresthesia in both legs and feet which is contributing to her not being able to walk.
Despite all of these negatives, Eboni is still determined to walk again and get home with her Mom and family! Eboni puts on her smile and works hard in PT every day and is very determined!!
Let's do what we can to help Chevonne and Eboni with the cost of rehabilitation and home health needs that insurance will not pay for!
Thank you!
