Irish Philadelphia Episodic Series

We (Irish American Films) are raising funds to expand a feature length documentary film on the history of The Irish Presence in The Delaware Valley to a multi-episode film series to air on Public Television.  We have been filming the documentary version for over 2 years and there are too many compelling storylines to condense into one feature length story.

“Irish Philadelphia” is a feature length documentary film that explores the Irish Presence in Philadelphia from the 1700’s to the present. The film examines several prominent aspects of The Irish American Culture in The Delaware Valley including: Early presence in The Delaware Valley before 1800’s, Mass Immigration throughout the 1800’s, Public Service, Civic and Social Groups, Archdiocese, Arts and Culture, Family and Faith.
