Warren Vermont Family in Need !

Mike Bishop and Rebekah Stone are hardworking, creative, dedicated and about the most loving parents we’ve ever witnessed.

They opened their huge hearts and enfolded their first foster baby, Emerson into their family in 2019. That love stretched some more when he was followed by half sibling, Olivia, who arrived in 2020 with serious immune issues. Once again, they opened their hearts and received a child who would test them with scary nights and numerous hospital visits.

They adopted both Emerson & Olivia from foster care in 2021 & 2022.

They had just arrived at a place of balance, both children thriving and Rebekah back at work, when in September, they got a call: there was another biological sibling in immediate need of care. As the adoptive parents of her siblings, they are the legal next of kin. With only 30 minutes notice, they met someone in the Shaw’s parking lot in Waterbury and

“Baby L” almost 7 months old and was handed to them with only the onesie she was wearing.

Then another whammy: “Baby L” has some health challenges that require surgeries at Boston Children’s with potentially lifelong mobility issues. Her first surgery was on Friday Mar 8, and she is now in a spica (whole body) cast, with her second procedure scheduled for April 1.

Instead of refusing this new challenge as many might have, they are meeting it with grace and love although emotional and financial stress are taking their toll. Please consider assisting this most deserving, lovely family and help them as they make better lives for their beautiful children.
