Our dear friends, Amy and John, got the news last Thursday that Amy’s mom had taken her life. Lynette was loving, giving, serving Christ's church, yet struggled with ongoing depression. One of things that Rob (Amy's brother) encouraged us at Lynette's funeral was to honor the memory of his mom, but pay attention to the living, support those who are with us, come around those who are hurting. We have an opportunity to do just that by helping John and Amy with some of the unexpected expenses that come with this loss like this. I know many of us would love to support them in a tangible way. Many of us live some distance away, but still want to love them well. So, I am asking for her friends to pray about how you might support them during this time.
