Ecole Robert Browning Playground

As you may know, Ecole Robert Browning's play structure was damaged on October 3, 2016 by suspected arsonists. http://www.winnipegfreepress.com/local/new-play-structure-at-school-damaged-by-fire-395647511.html

The total amount that the Parent Council will have to pay is not finalized yet, but we do know that the cost of the repair will be substantial. Sixteen years ago, our structure cost $115,000. One third of the structure was damaged, so the cost of the replacement parts will be great.

Many have asked about insurance and we are learning more about the insurance plan. One thing we do know, is that there will be a sizable cost to the Parent Council.

If the amount we raise exceeds the cost of the play structure repair, we would like to install lighting, to deter vandalism. We also have other playground repairs that would benefit the kids, such as levelling the field, and making it safer for all who play there. No donation is too small, every dollar will go towards the playground and making it a great, safe place for our kids, and our community.
