At 351 Portuguese Startup Association, we've been fueling the growth of Portugal's startup ecosystem since 2019.
In 2024, we supported and organized a wide range of activities to strengthen and connect the startup community, some of these were:
- 2 Techstars Startup Weekends: One edition in Porto and the other in Lisbon - we brought this impactful event back to Porto after over a decade!!!
- Techstars Community Leaders Academy: We hosted 1 empowering academy that connected and developed community leaders.
- Community Fund: We supported around 25 events that fostered growth and innovation.
- Workshops: We offered approximately 10 workshops focused on skill-building and entrepreneurship.
- Co-working Thursdays: We hosted 47 events in Porto, 38 in Lisbon, and some in the Algarve, creating spaces for collaboration and networking.
- Direct Support for Communities: We supported key events such as FuckUp Nights, Community Hangouts, Tech Run, CreativeMornings Lisbon, and Techstars Startup Week Guimarães.
- Sectoral Committees on Tourism: We organized 4 editions across different regions of Portugal to support sector-specific development.
- Elétrico Pitch: We brought the famous “elevator pitch” to the streets of Lisbon, and partnered with global VCs to support startup growth and visibility.
- Portugal Tech Week: We hosted over 300 events across 20 cities to promote innovation and collaboration.
- Tech Days: We brought startup events to over 15 cities across Portugal.
- Portugal Tech Week House powered by MEO: We offered over 100 hours of content to inspire and educate the community.
And this year, we’re not just maintaining this momentum — we’re aiming to double these efforts! That's righ, in 2025 we're dreaming even bigger! But to make it happen, we need your help.
