Parks Family Tragic Car Accident

This GoFundMe is being managed by Jovarion Parks best friend, Mustafa, and Jovarion's brother, Charles. Donations will be used to cover funeral & memorial expenses, medical expenses, and to assist with the Parks' family recovery. Jovarion Parks has authorized Charles Perkins (brother) to withdraw the money on his behalf. 

A fatal car accident on highway 580 left 2 children dead on May 7th at 11.30 am. Natasha was driving with her 3 kids to pick up a laptop from school in a white Honda Accord when she hit a pick up truck. Her vehicle was then hit by a minivan in which her son, Elijah (13yrs old), and daughter, Candace (8yrs old), passed away. Natasha and her 10 year old son are still in critical condition.

Jovarion Parks, her husband, got the news from law enforcement about 3 hours later. There are no words that can describe the pain he and his family are going through. He’s a loving father and an amazing husband who has to now worry about burying his two children while his wife recovers in the hospital. This is a tragedy that no parent can ever expect and plan for.

Due to the current pandemic he is unemployed. The cost of funeral services is a huge stress for family members who have just lost their loved ones. A memorial is an important opportunity for family and friends to create meaning from loss, strengthen bonds, and celebrate the life of the departed.
