Ed "Alvin" Dowling

Did you know that High Blood pressure can cause kidney failure? A diagnosis that is so

common today is actually a silent destroyer of your kidneys.

Just a few months ago, Ed Dowling's life was simple, with no significant problems; he was living

and enjoying life and his family. Suddenly he started to feel dizzy one night, which made him

seek medical attention. At first, his blood pressure was out of control, so he worked with his

physician to get it under control. Next was routine blood work, and that's when Pandora's box

opened. Ed was diagnosed with stage 5 Kidney Disease, which meant his kidneys were

getting very close to failure or had already failed. It happened so quickly Ed was put on

dialysis within weeks. If your kidneys fail, you will need to start dialysis or have a kidney

transplant to live. Eddie is at stage 5 and is now on dialysis 3 days a week for 4 hours a day.

The Dowling family hopes that you ( his YEADON family) will join them to help raise money to

help Eddie get through the rough times.

The end goal is to get Ed the transplant he needs, but that is a long road. Please help us to

bring him down that road to the transplant.
