Ed Burrows’ Monthly Trial Cancer Treatments

Our good friend, Ed Burrows, has been battling Stage 4 prostate cancer for a few years. He is undergoing monthly trial cancer treatments in Mexico City through Dr. Jason Williams. Dr Williams is covering the cost of the procedures, and this fund will help defray traveling, meals, and housing costs for Ed and his required traveling companion.

Ed has completed three of these treatments, and the tumor is shrinking, although not as quickly as was hoped. He faces at least three more of these monthly treatments in Mexico in the near future.

We are Father Don & Margaret Matthews, friends of Ed’s and his family and I am their former Priest at Grace Episcopal Church in Elmira, NY. Ed has been a Boy Scout leader, (two of his sons are Eagle Scouts), he and his wife, Joan, are deeply involved in their local volunteer fire department, he owns his own landscaping business, and also Windy Ridge Labradors. He is a hard-working and faithful man whom we dearly love.
