Ed Nugent for his beloved Minnie

Update:
At Your Door Veterinary Care [phone redacted] came out to evaluate Minnie.
What we do know is that her left side has sustained the most damage. She has a wound on the inside of her mouth, a tear that is infected on the back left leg and we think a fractured left front leg. She is anemic and we don’t know if that is from internal bleeding, but the vet said that could be unlikely currently because she’s in good spirits. We can’t get the correct sling and brace until Saturday for the front leg. They are hoping that the left front leg isn’t more serve, but won’t know until she has healed from some of this and can get her to a clinic. Rest, medication and a whole lot of love is coming her way.
We can not thank everyone enough for their generosity during this time. Ed is one of the kindest and most caring person I have ever had the pleasure of meeting and getting to know. He still insists on putting others first even during this tragic time. Thank you to everyone who has supported and helped putting Ed and Minnie first!!!!
Hard times have come upon all of us. My dear neighbor Ed has been tragically effected by the storm. He tragically lost his daughter due to the impeding water and damage to Mine Dock Rd. Minnie was found by her side.
Minnie has unknown injuries to her body and has gone days without seeking help as she was stranded at the bottom of Mine Dock Rd. She is home now, but unfortunately due to her size she will need a veterinarian with a mobile x-ray machine that can handle large farm animals due to her size.
Any amount helps and we can’t thank you enough.
