I am all about impact and helping others get ahead in life. I've been working in the tech education space and makerspace realm for the last half of decade and my recent travels to new york, I lacked the main ingredients to expose my student to technology (equipment & wifi). The digital divide is true and not every place has it like California. In NYC, we lack the technology and support and I am raising money to buy the technology I need, to make a larger impact and to raise funds to impact more cities, for example, I would like to go to Chicago, Houston, Atl, Miami, Sacramento, and lastly, come back to NYC to check in and give them the proper exposure to technology. If you can't please share this or donate any amount...

How I will use the funds:
Purchase  iPad with  keyboards, wifi service, VR laptop for my Oculus, VR headset & headphones, and  plane tickets/meals, and transportation

Impact goal:
Serve 300 students in 3 months

"Jon Bryant is a “day 1er,” meaning since the very beginning he has been about community, tech, and education. He’s been at StreetCode since Day 1, too, as a student turned volunteer, turned summer programs manager, turned lead teacher.

When we first started we offered “babysitting” to our parents, but Jon turned it into one of the best parts of our program, called Junior StreetCode, teaching students as young as 4 years old block coding, makerspace, and game design. It’s why my youngest son identifies as an expert coder and he’s 7 .

I’ve watched his love for teaching take him to our very own Ravenswood School District, leading a makerspace program, to Stanford University supporting their tech education program, and now doing this!

Because of Jon, our local tech education is better, our community is more prepared for the future. I’m proud to see this impact expand. Salute!"
