Ed Wolff’s Family Deserves Justice
Donation protected
Ed Wolff Senior, a dedicated member of the Ironworkers Local 16 for an impressive 40 years, tragically passed away from a brain cancer called Glioblastoma in September 2023. Ed's passing left a void in the hearts of his family, friends, and fellow Ironworkers.
Ed's unwavering commitment to his craft and union was evident throughout his career. Sadly, his pension was facing difficulties even before his untimely death. Thankfully, the America Rescue Plan Act of 2021 brought some hope in the form of a reimbursement for Ironworkers Local 16, which was officially awarded in August 2023.
The devastating irony is that Ed passed away just 10 days before the reimbursement was received. Due to this cruel twist of fate, his surviving wife Kim is now being denied the much-needed financial support that Ed rightfully earned during his decades of service.
