Ed Wou

Hi, my name is Todd Demong. I'm just one of dozens of folks who was friends with, and loved, Ed Wou. I'm fundraising for his wife Seana and kids Lily and Christoph in memory of our incredible friend Ed Wou.

Ed was away in Laos on a climbing trip with friends when he passed away suddenly on the evening of January 29th, 2025.

I'm supposed to write some words about him but I don't think I can do him justice. He was a gigantic goofball, but in all the best ways. Always up for fun, always joking, always smiling. He was a loyal friend who would go so far out his way to help. Most importantly he was an amazing partner and husband for Seana and the best, most present Dad to Lily and Christoph. My heart breaks thinking they won't have him around to help them through the rest of their lives.

We would like to raise some money to ease the burden of bringing Ed home, funeral costs, general unforeseen expenses, and potentially to help the kids with their future education. Seana's sister Corry Buchanan has graciously agreed to be the beneficiary so that Seana doesn't have to worry about any more than she needs to right now, and will make sure the money gets to her and the kids.
