Hello, my name is Chichi Okafor and I truly appreciate you taking a moment to read my story.. My family and I has just experienced the sudden and tragic passing away of my dear husband who is also the father of our newly born 6 months old son. This tragic event happened when my husband travelled home to attend the funeral of his dad (my father-in law) who passed away 2 months ago. While in attendance, my husband had a fall and died on the way to the hospital. I have been on maternity leave for the past 5 months, leaving my husband as the sole provider for our family in this time. This is a very tough time and I am appealing for any assistance that can help with our living costs, upkeep, essentials for me and my 6 month old son, and support in bringing my mum over to Australia to give me the much needed support.
