Brandy's Battle Against Lymphoma

Anyone that has ever met Brandy Stark Banaszek, instantly notices her beautiful smile, caring heart and her no bullshit type of personality. As a medical assistant, she spends her days selflessly caring for children.  She is a dedicated military wife and mother of two.  She portrays strength and independence with every deployment that her husband, Joe, honorably serves with the United States Air Force.  Brandy is a spirited football/cheer mom, filling her days with work, practices, games, homework, housework, meal prep and family time. When you meet Brandy, you instantly know that she is an unstoppable force.  And then once you meet Joe, you know that they were absolutely made for each other.  They are not only husband and wife, they are truly soul mates. The Banaszek’s, Joe, Brandy, Joey and Arianna, are a loving and devoted family.

Brandy was diagnosed with Lymphoma on October 5th, 2015.  Later testing determined that she has Stage 2, Hodgkin Lymphoma. She has since been given a 5 month treatment plan and will begin chemotherapy in November. Never can you be prepared to be delivered the devastating news that you have cancer.  Never do you want to find out that your loved one has been diagnosed with cancer. During Brandy’s treatments, she will be missing time at work. Her husband, Joe, will also be missing time from work as he takes her to treatments and cares for her while she recovers after every dose. Not only will their daily lives be altered physically, emotionally and financially, their approaching holidays will be effected. Your monetary donation will not only assist with financial burden, it will ultimately relieve some of the Banaszek's emotional burden as well.
