The Eddie Mills Education Fund

The friends of Eddie Mills are here to cherish the memory of an innovator, a pioneer, a legend but mostly a good friend. Eddie loved to teach kids the art of music and the craft of DJing, and helped so many kids find their passion for music - and we want to continue that in his spirit.

Eddie was an exceptional talent in music and academia as a DJ, Music Director, and bandmate, where he curated Chicago Nightlife at the top clubs and special events for the last 25 years. As an academic, he was a mathematics guru, who loved to teach Chicago youth the art of mathematics. As a educational innovator, Eddie curated and taught DJ classes across the city as a way of engaging youth and sharing the love of his craft.

In his memory the friends of Eddie Mills have chosen to create the Eddie Mills Education Fund. Donations will support the STEAM (Science, TEchnology, Arts, and Mathematics) programs that Eddie curated over the last few years. The goal of which is to empower youth by providing skills to broaden their minds and help them seize opportunities.
