Please help raise funds for Eddies Safety Sleeper

Hi, my names Lucy and I'm fundraising for a Safety Sleeper for my autistic Son Eddie.

Eddie is 4 and diagnosed with Autism. He's completely non verbal, has delayed development and limited understanding. Eddie also has no danger awareness. Despite all of this, he is a very happy little boy and always has a smile on his face!

Hes recently started to tip himself over the bars of his cot. This has resulted in him landing on his head and hurting himself. Luckily he was ok but his cot is no longer safe for him.

We've now moved him to a toddler bed but Eddie has decided it would be much more fun to throw himself off of the bedroom furniture and bounce around all night! Unfortunately Eddies had a few accidents and he's not as safe as he could be if he had a safe sleeper.

As with many children with Autism, Eddie likes to climb, jump, run and escape which is why a regular bed isn't suitable for him.

The Safe Sleeper would provide him with a comfy, secure and safe place to get a good night's sleep without the worry of him hurting himself.

Below is a picture of the bed we are hoping to raise enough money for. It's safe, comfy, washable, prevents him wondering off and injuring himself, its also completely entrapment proof which provides so much reassurance.

As with most special Needs equipment, it's pretty expensive.

Unfortunately, as a lone parent I can't do this by myself, so I'm hoping with the kindness, understanding and generosity of others we can provide a safe place for my little boy to sleep. It would also give me peace of mind (and a bit of sleep) which I'd be eternally grateful for!
