Eddy Yap Memorial Fund
Donation protected
Eddy Yap was a loving husband, father, sibling, friend, and colleague. He was three years into remission after battling cancer and was the strongest he had been in years. He passed away too soon and is continued by his wife and two sons.
He loved playing piano accompaniments with his sons, traveling, trying new foods, visiting every possible stop on road trips, riding roller coasters, experimenting with hot sauces, test driving cars that he didn't need, reading and learning, watching late-night television, laughing at horror b-movies, drinking lattes that his daughter-in-law made, and serenading his wife with piano ballads. The words needed to describe him and tell his story would be too long to contain here.
Any time away from his actual family was spent with his work family. He loved what he did and waking up to go to work each day. During his time with Honeywell, he was able to travel with his family and make connections around the world. His planned retirement at the end of this year was something he both awaited and dreaded.
If you knew Eddy or his family, please consider donating to this fund to assist with his memorial. Besides assisting with the memorial and hospital fees, any excess funds will be used in supporting Eddy's wife going forward.
There will be a memorial event in Katy on February 11th at 2:30PM. The event will also be livestreamed and the link to watch will be posted here once confirmed. Additional details can be found in the facebook event page:
