Edgar Santamaria Zacatzontle

Edgar Santamaria a 25 year old  son, brother, uncle, nephew and cousin was brought to the hospital Saturday at 5am due to a cardiac arrest. He was without oxygen for more than 20min. He was in Intensive Care Unit for 24hrs. His neurologist gave us the news of him not having brain activity. We refused to believe the news and we asked to have his brain scanned once again. We waited impatiently for the results hoping we would be given a different news.They told us that unfortunately there was nothing they could do because the damage to the brain is irreversible and we were looking at disconnecting him from the ventilator. My family and I are heartbroken. Sunday at 3:51pm he was pronounced dead. Monday morning we had to say our last goodbyes and spent the little time we could with him. We later had to disconnect him from the ventilator .We thank you for all for your prayers and kind messages and ask for a kind gesture as his death came unexpected for our family.
