Edie's 30 day Darwen Tower Challenge for Ukraine

I have created this fundraiser on behalf of my daughter, 8-year old Edie Turner.

 

Following my brother's recent visit to Ukraine, where he spent his time filming a documentary about the humanitarian work carried out by his Ukrainian friend, Yulia Khouri, Edie decided she would like to help to raise money for this fantastic cause, by completing a challenge which she could be sponsored for.

 

Edie will walk up to our local land mark, Darwen Tower, every day, for 30 consecutive days from the 1st to the 30th of May. All money raised will be sent directly to Yulia's team of volunteers who are working tirelessly, distributing essential items, including food, clothes and medication to the most vulnerable women and children.

 

I hope, together, we can help Edie to fulfil this tough challenge and raise as much as possible for these poor children.
