Edinburgh 2022 Travel Scholarships
Donation protected
For any teenager who has traveled internationally, the experience can be a lifelong memory.
For the many students in the PACARTS program, the triennial trip as performers in the world's largest theater festival in Edinburgh, Scotland, can be life-changing.
Join Pacifica Christian High School as we seek to raise funds for student scholarships. As we strive to make this life-changing opportunity financially possible, we need your help to grant access to a truly fantastic experience.
The Edinburgh 2022 trip will accommodate over 30 students, flying from Los Angeles to London, where they will spend three days seeing world-class theater, touring arts facilities, and soaking in the rich history of Shakespeare's Globe.
From there, the students will travel north by train to Edinburgh, Scotland, the host of one of Europe's most famous arts experiences: the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. This festival hosts thousands of artists from across the world, and these students will have access to hundreds of plays, musicals, spoken word, and comedy performances over eight days.
At the Fringe, your donation will help students perform and produce two musicals before an international audience: Stephen Sondheim's "Assassins" and a world premiere musical "About New Year's Eve," conceived and written by Pacifica arts alumni.
Similar experiences for American high schoolers cost $8000 per student, but Pacifica has kept the cost of the trip unchanged for ten years at $4500 per student. Your contributions make it possible for every student who wants to attend, regardless of financial status.
By giving to our Go Fund Me, you can help a teenager access a creative experience that is truly unique and special with a team of committed educators, designers, playwrights, and musicians.
Please share the word about this extraordinary opportunity, and give what you can!
