Edinburgh Marathon in memory of Patsy and Des

In memory of two incredibly special people, I plan on running the Edinburgh Marathon on the 26th of May. Last year, we lost our dear Aunty Patsy, the most infectiously lovely person, and my grandad Des, a gentleman if ever there was one.

Above all, Patsy and Des taught me that kindness, in all its forms, is what truly matters. I would like to raise some money for the people who showed immense kindness and care towards Patsy, Des and our family during their time there. Intensive care units throughout the country do tremendous work day in and day out which largely goes unnoticed and unthanked. I hope to raise some money that will be split between ICUs at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda and St. Vincent’s University Hospital.

I don’t think I can ever thank Patsy and Des enough for the impact they continue to have on my life but this is my very small way of trying to do so. I would be so extremely grateful for any donation.
