Edith Haney Galvin

Hi, my name is Carolyn Baskett , a lifelong friend.   I along with many other friends want to start this fundraiser for Edith to help with medical expenses and finances due to surgery.

 

Edith went into surgery April 12 for removal of a benign brain tumor to save her eyesight. Once procedure started, it had to be terminated due to bleeding and swelling of the brain. She was admitted to ICU for treatment to reduce swelling.   To date, she continues to get treatment in ICU.  There is some improvement noted as of April 22.

 

We are not sure of prognosis or length of time she will be in this semi-sedated state.  At this time we are asking for all prayers for her continued healing.

 

Her only child, Johnathan Galvin, is on leave from his job to be at her side. He resides in Atlanta. This situation is a financial strain on Edith and her son.

 

We are reaching out for assistance in this time of need and would appreciate any financial help and prayers.
