Edith, abused Romanian street dog vet bills.

Donation protected
Hi I'm Ali. I ❤️ rescue animals, everyone I've had has been dumped, abused, stray etc. I adopted Edith in 2018 via Delieverence at Bishop Auckland. She was a street dog picked up in Romania. She had an eye missing when she arrived. She also had two open wounds on her side. She had surgery at Westway vets in 2018 and an inch long piece of stick was removed. One wound healed, the other never did. She was again admitted to Westway in 20 but sadly nothing was found. She's been unsettled for the last 8 weeks or so since another hole opened. She's been continually licking it and has obviously been suffering discomfort with it. She was admitted to the vets again last week. The surgery was a success, and another piece of wood was removed. Unfortunately, the operation was bigger than anyone expected. She had so much scar tissue, debris and infection that she's been left with an open wound approximately 4 inches x 2 inches. At the moment we are attending Westway vets every other day to have her dressing changed. She was sedated yesterday and more decaying skin was removed. The plan is to continue with the dressing changes for 6 to 8 weeks when the they feel the wound has drained and is healed enough to close. Every appointment costs money. This weeks bill is 1k.

She's the sweetest, most loving little girl you could every wish to meet. Everyone who meets her just loves her. Thank you on behalf of Edith and myself for taking time to read her story. I sincerely hope you can help.
