Help Luke

Luke Byrd, 24 years young, found out that his wife was pregnant with their first child the morning of July 11, 2024. The joy of the newlyweds child was soon to be dampened. Just a few hours later, while at work as a carpenter, he sustained life altering injuries. After a 13 foot fall, he was rushed to Forrest General Hospital where he underwent emergency surgery. The doctors said he will likely never walk again. Luke will now require extensive modifications to his home: wheelchair ramp, doorways widened, wheelchair accessible bathroom, etc. These expenses, coupled with the surgery and physical therapy, will require financial resources not available to the young newlyweds.
