Edmundo Garcia - Funeral Fund
Donation protected
We are very saddened to announce that my beloved uncle, Edmundo Garcia, has departed from this earth after losing his battle with COVID 19.
He was only 62 and did not act it because his soul was kind and humble with everyone he met. His time was shared between working as a bakery assembly line man, being a loving uncle, father, grandfather, and husband and brother. Even as the pandemic broke out, he would not miss a day of work as his line was considered essential.
Anyone who interacted with him can tell you that he had a heart of gold, always kind and generous to everyone he came across. If you ever saw him around kids, it was a guaranteed smile because he was like the quintessential uncle at the family parties and kids loved him back with high fives or hugs.
We could have not ever imagined that we would lose my uncle this way (this early on) and we did not anticipate having to cover funeral expenses and other related expenses this early on in his life. We prayed and hoped for a quick recovery. He bravely fought for his life but sadly lost the fight. This was not the way any one in our family anticipated the end of life for our loved one who came here to have a chance at a better life. We will forever be honored that he was in our lives and remember the warmth that he filled in our hearts.
All proceeds received will go to funeral arrangements that include shipping the remains to Mexico, and cover for his medical expenses.
Thank you for considering this cause during this difficult time, my family greatly appreciates it .
