Edna's Emergency Surgeries

Sweet & wonderful Edna was abandoned & tied to streetpole, during a rainstorm in Merced. She was bred to an inch of her life and bears many health issues: prolapsed, stretched and distended nipples, breast & mast cell tumors. Enda needs a total mastectomy and lumpectomy which will cost rescue $2000. The vet told us that we need to do this as soon as possible. We've been assured she will make a full recovery, but without surgery Edna's future is grim.

Despite these issues, Edna is seriously  enjoying being in rescue! She's having a blast playing & wrestling with her furry foster friends,  cuddling & kissing her foster parents and just plain happy to be safe, loved and warm.
