Support for the Wilkins Family

Dear friends, family, and beloved community,

With great grief, we share that Jared Wilkins unexpectedly passed away due to complications resulting from recent back surgery on October 20th, leaving behind his wife, Shauna, and four young children, Makena, Declan, Zoe, and Naomi. The family is understandably shocked by this loss, and as those who love them, it is our honor to have the opportunity to surround them with love and support at this tragic time.

Jared and Shauna made a fantastic team in their marriage, serving at Parkcrest Christian Church and in all aspects of their lives. They were always looking for ways to give back to their community and have helped many of us in our time of need. I'm sure we each have deeply personal stories we could recount about how and when they have stood with us in our time of need, offered support, prayer, encouragement, wisdom, and the gift of their presence. Now it is our turn to help Shauna and her children as they process the loss of Jared. We are raising money to assist with unexpected medical costs, services, a scholarship fund for each of the kids and time Shauna might have to take off work to process and grieve with her children.
