My name is Jorge Eduardo Ceron Hernandez, and I am from Colombia. At 32 years old, I am the eldest of three siblings. One of my most cherished dreams, nurtured since childhood, was to become a doctor to make a positive impact on others and my family.

Despite financial struggles, she made countless sacrifices and worked tirelessly to support me in pursuing my dream of attending medical school.

After years of unwavering dedication, I graduated as a Physician. However, my journey didn't end there. Driven by a passion for medical anesthesiology, I continued my education. This path led me far away from my country and family, requiring significant sacrifices. Now, with only two months until my graduation, I am eager to make my mom and younger siblings proud. I know their excitement will be palpable.

Yet, amidst this joyous anticipation, a formidable challenge has emerged. I have been diagnosed with stomach cancer, adding an unexpected layer of complexity to my journey.
