Who this will help

Hello, my name is Eduardo Miguel Hernández. My father has transitioned and I’m trying to figure out this new world without him. Everything has changed. I’m overwhelmed with everything. I’m asking for help in relieving some of the pressure of handling the expenses for funeral services & the travel to his final resting place in Puerto Rico.

Why I'm fundraising

My dad, Papo, had a powerful presence in any room he stepped into. He carried this power with grace. He used it to always be there for others. Whether it was helping with a ride somewhere or with a positive conversation to help you keep pushing forward. He lived to serve.

My dad was my superhero since I was a baby. Growing up, I witnessed him accomplish so many amazing feats. There was nothing he couldn’t accomplish. In my adult years, he continued to prove he was a real superhero by batting so much adversity while keeping a smile and positive mental attitude. My dad was the archetype of a stand up, honorable man.

I appreciate all the love and well wishes for him that I’ve received in the passed few days. It means a lot to me. I’m still acclimating to this new world without him. The air is different, food tastes different…but everyday I push forward as he would want me to. He would’ve wanted me to “complete the mission”.

I intend to do so.
