Educare alla Vita - Cresciamo con gioia

Cari,

"Educare alla Vita" a Perugia è una bellissima realtà associativa. In meno di un anno stiamo già servendo 23 famiglie. Famiglie che provengono da città, religioni e realtà diverse, per ricevere un' educazione con il metodo innovativo Educare alla Vita - bambini dai 3 ai 6 anni che imparano e crescono con gioia.



Il metodo Educare alla Vita nasce nel 1972 con l'obiettivo di offrire al bambino un'ambiente di crescita e sviluppo attento a tutti i suoi aspetti: corpo, sentimenti, volontà ed intelletto, preparandolo così a poter affrontare serenamente le diverse sfide della vita e scoprire livelli sempre più profondi di significato e di felicità. 
In EaV i valori universali quali la gratitudine, il rispetto, la lealtà e la pace sono parte integrante del processo educativo, qualità umane da sviluppare nell'interazione quotidiana tra amici.



Pur rispettando il curriculum accademico ministeriale, i bambini e i giovani imparano in un ambiente gioioso, rispettoso e stimolante in cui la natura, l'arte, la musica, lo yoga e la  meditazione sono strumenti preziosi attraverso cui imparare l'autodisciplina, la compassione e l'empatia come strumenti di dialogo, di ricerca del benessere e di sviluppo delle più alte aspirazioni umane. 



L'esperienza dei primi 45 anni nelle scuole nate negli Stati Uniti e in Europa ha confermato le aspettative e da un sondaggio effettuato sul 40% degli ex alunni ora adulti, il 70% definisce eccellente la qualità della propria vita e il restante 30% si divide tra molto soddisfacente e buona.

Questo dato ci conferma che un'educazione attenta a ogni aspetto dell'individuo può essere il presupposto per una società più sana e felice.

La Commissione di Accreditamento scolastico della California ha così commentato il metodo Educare alla Vita: "Se voi poteste applicare nel sistema educativo pubblico quello che fate nelle vostre scuole, si potrebbe cambiare il mondo!" (WASC Western Association of Schools and Colleges).



Forti dei risultati finora raccolti, il nostro obiettivo è di diffondere il metodo Educare alla Vita attraverso:

- l'apertura di nuove scuole in Italia e in Europa
- la formazione degli insegnanti già attivi in realtà scolastiche sia pubbliche che private
- il sostegno ai genitori nel grande compito dell'educare un figlio.

Riteniamo che l'impatto sociale di questi obiettivi sia altissimo e in grado di portare reali benefici alla società tutta. Investire in un sistema educativo che porti rispetto e gioia al bambino di oggi e serenità nell'adulto di domani è tra i contributi più significativi che possiamo lasciare ai nostri figli, ai nostri nipoti, alle future generazioni.

Ad oggi in Italia sono attive tre realtà "Educare alla Vita": a Perugia, Orvieto e Pordenone.

Il sostegno che ti chiediamo è per la realtà di Perugia, che è cresciuta velocemente, e per la quale abbiamo avuto necessità di spostarci in una sede più ampia.  
Abbiamo dovuto affrontare spese straordinarie per il trasloco di sede e per adeguare la nuova struttura agli standard richiesti dalle leggi vigenti in materia di sicurezza.

Inoltre, per sostenere i costi di gestione delle attività "Educare alla Vita", le famiglie versano un contributo mensile o annuale e in alcuni casi con l'aiuto di borse di studio.



Infine per alimentare la divulgazione dei valori e del metodo Educare alla Vita, abbiamo necessità di tradurre e pubblicare due testi fondamentali.

Nel prospetto qui sotto spieghiamo nel dettaglio l'entità del contributo con cui potresti partecipare alla realizzazione di questi obiettivi.

Dear ones,
 
Educare alla Vita - "Education for Life" - Perugia is a beautiful associative new reality. In less than a year we are already receiving 23 families coming from the surrounding areas. Families who come from different towns, faiths and backgrounds, to have their 3 to 6 years old children receive an education based on the innovative method Education for Life, and where they learn and grow with joy.
 


The Education for Life method was born in 1972 with the aim of offering to the child an environment of growth and development attentive to all its aspects: body, feelings, will and intellect, thus preparing him to face serenely the different challenges of life and discover deeper and deeper levels of meaning and happiness.
In EFL the universal values such as gratitude, respect, loyalty and peace are an essential part of the educational process, human qualities to be developed in the daily interaction between friends.
 
While respecting the academic curriculum, children and young people learn in a joyful, respectful and stimulating environment in which nature, art, music, yoga and meditation are used as precious tools through which they learn self-discipline, compassion and empathy as instruments of dialogue, in the search for their well-being and in the development of the highest human aspirations.

 

The experience of the first 45 years in schools born in the United States and Europe has confirmed the expectations and a survey carried out on 40% of former students now adults, 70% of them define "excellent" the quality of their life and the remaining 30% is divided between "very satisfactory" and "good".
 
This confirms to us that an education attentive to every aspect of the individual can be the prerequisite for a healthier and happier society.
The California School Accreditation Commission commented on the Education for Life method : "If you could apply in the public education system what you do in your schools, you could change the world! (WASC Western Association of Schools and Colleges).
 
Building on the results so far, our goal is to spread the Education for Life method through:
 
- the opening of new schools in Italy and Europe;
- the training of teachers already working in both public and private schools;
- supporting parents in the great task of bringing up a child.
 
We believe that the social impact of these objectives is very high and can bring real benefits to society as a whole. Investing in an educational system that brings respect and joy to the child of today and serenity to the adult of tomorrow, is one of the most significant contributions that we can leave to our children, to our grandchildren, to future generations.

Today in Italy there are three active "Education for Life" realities: Perugia, Orvieto and Pordenone.
The support we are asking you is for the reality of Perugia, which has grown rapidly, and because of that needed to move to a larger site. 
We had to face extraordinary expenses for the relocation of the headquarters and to adapt the new structure to the standards required by the laws in force on safety.
 
In addition, in order to cover all management costs for the "Education for Life" activities, families pay a monthly or annual contribution and in some cases with the help of scholarships.
 
Finally, in order to foster the spreading of the values and the Education for Life approach, we need to translate and publish two fundamental texts.
