Education for JR

My name is Emanuel Nelson Jr.  I am a 14 year old rising 9th grader.  My GPA is 3.8.  I have been playing basketball in the AAU league as well as county and house leagues for most of my life.
I have worked really hard to achieve and maintain high academics as well as excellent skills as a basketball and football player.  

I live in a loving home in a neighborhood surrounded by gangs and drug-related crimes.  My family has worked hard to keep me safe from the streets.  My regular high school is also gang and drug infested.  

My dad has helped me create an opportunity to apply to a private, four year high school where I believe I can thrive and become a positive influence in the lives of my five younger siblings and in my community.   

Although I appreciate the opportunity I have been allowed by being accepted to the school, my family is not financially able to pay for my tuition, school supplies, a laptop transportation and clothes.  I would like to ask for your financial help.  I promise to do my very best in school and in sports.  I will work as hard as I can to complete high school, college and become a contributing member to society and a positive role model for my siblings.
