Education fund for Jessie and Tobias

Since the birth of both our kids, Angele and I had lots of ideas and discussions about the education for them. One of the things we were envisioning is to have them play outside as much as possible, not inside a classroom all day at a young age. The default system in Malta was not something we were too enthusiastic about, and at some point we were even contemplating starting an alternative on our own.

This never happened, mainly due to the health challenges Angele faced.

Nearly 3 weeks ago, I saw a post on Facebook of a local initiative doing exactly this. Looking for parents with children aged 3 or 4, for a start in October of this year! So I immediately went to Angele and told her. Not to be too dramatic, but it is one of the last things I shared with her. The smile on her face, the pure joy she tried to express was amazing. So I will do whatever needs to be done to make sure Jessie and Tobias can join this. For them and for her.

It is a really small setting for now and once I explained our situation (plus the fact that we have 2 kids right in the age group!) they accepted us to be part of this. Truly amazing and super exciting!

The financial side of this is still being finalized, but of course this is going to cost something. So that's the reason I set up this "education fund" with the first goal to cover all the expenses for the first year. If we smash this goal, I will detail the future plans for further education.

We will place a physical donation box at the celebration of Angele's life on 26 August as well.
