Giovanni Sidari 48, (“John”), loving husband of Rachel, father to Olivia (8) and Ian (7), died suddenly March 5th, 2020 at Legacy Emanuel Medical Center in Portland, OR, with his wife at his side.
Giovanni, born in Chicago, IL, to Dominick and Santa Sidari of Calabria, Italy, has three siblings Tony, Diane and Joe. He graduated Mundelein HS in ‘89, played football for the Fighting Illini at U of I and graduated with a degree in Finance and Econ. in ‘94. Later he earned a mARCH from the University of Oregon ‘03. After years in Seattle he continued on to New York City where he worked for several years in architecture, married and had two children, returning in 2016 to his beloved Oregon where he had recently begun his own firm.
Giovanni is survived by his wife, children, mother, siblings, 16 nieces and nephews and numerous relatives.
